Space Ad Astra tie necklace
We live on the Space Coast so of course we make space-themed ties. This black tie is paired with a large vintage starburst brooch, and a whole story below. The vintage NASA pin is from STS-93 and has the partner names NASA, SwRI and JPL. It says "SWUIS LUNAR PLANETARY IMAGING MISSION," with the the STS-93 dates of 1998-1999.
We added crystals in the shape of the Big Dipper, with it's rightmost stars replicating our sky and pointing to the North Star. We also added the phrase "AD ASTRA," which means, "to the stars." Perhaps you saw the Brad Pitt movie of the same name.
