What ARE These Beautiful Things?!
Put simply, tie necklaces are repurposed elegance fashion accessories. Ella and Mom, Lee, search for ties of all eras and pair them with vintage brooches, upcycled fabrics and curated embellishments to create one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
The necklace component is removable, so you are able to style the one we've paired with the tie by wearing it alone, or you can swap in a different style and length.
Almost all the brooches are vintage, some antique, and a few more modern. We refurbish brooches when necessary — an art in itself with painstaking care to replace missing crystals or pearls, polish/clean metals and touch up finishes.

Giving Back
We donate $10 per tie necklace to The Children's Hunger Project, a nonprofit that helps feed hungry children. The sale of 20 tie necklaces feeds one child in this program for an entire year! Ella has been fundraising and packing food/supporting this organization since she was 5 years old.

It's rare to see a yellow tie this vibrant. We've paired this stunning Van Heusen tie with leaf pattern with a vintage signed ART (Arthur Pepper) floral starburst brooch and two smaller gold and pearl brooches for a one-of-a-kind elegant accessory.
The ART brooch has a domed yellow center, pearls, and green and blue flowers with orange centers.
The two smaller brooches below are gold, each with a pearl.

We can do a custom design using a tie that is special to you, by pairing it with your brooches and pins/embellishments or pull from our extensive and growing collection to create a priceless keepsake that allows you to wear your story into the next chapter.
We also have many ties and brooches ready for creation, so if you love a particular color or a theme, we can see which fabrics and brooches would match.

The red and black tie on the right was given to her by her father, which was given to him by his father — so, guessing that tie is about 70 years old. And it's in pristine condition! Lee's grandfather was a tailor with a dry-cleaning business, so all of her dad's ties are in like-new condition.
