A new show!

Ella and family are beyond grateful that Ella has been cast as a series regular in a new show. This requires a few months on location in Texas. As soon as an official announcement is made, we will share more. 

Here, she's wearing the cowgirl hat she customized at a fun day meeting the cast and production team for the first time.

Once it's cleared for release, we'll announce the news on Ella's Instagram and Facebook, so make sure to follow her there.

Sweet Magnolias Season 4 NOW streaming on Netflix!

It's finally here!! You can now stream the 10 new episodes of Sweet Magnolias, season 4 on Netflix . Ella joined the cast in Season 3, playing Katie Townsend.

Ella'​s Third Short Film "The Towel" is Winning Awards!

Look at all the laurels on that poster! Ella wrote and directed her third short film, "The Towel" during the one-week Youth Filmmakers Workshop hosted by Jacono Studios in July, 2024. For the third time, it was kid and camera (this time shot and edited fully on iPhone) making a film in just one week's time.

Ella's film has been accepted to film festivals across the country and in Australia! She won her first best director award, and a few others, and the film is screening in some upcoming festivals.

Ella continued her genre streak of sci-fi/fantasy with this film, and went to a new level as she designed and sewed, along with the film's star, the main piece of wardrobe around which the plot was created. She then created a smaller version for herself to wear to the film's premiere weekend. In fact, "The Towel" screened at three festivals its opening weekend, Oct. 19, 2024.

BEST IN SHOW!

Ella is grateful to the organizers, sponsors and judges of the 6th Annual Brevard Children's Business Fair for naming her BEST IN SHOW!

Ella started with Ella Bella Beads when she was 5, but was too young to participate (minimum age was 6). But she was ready to go the next year and has since participated in all but one, due to traveling for acting.

It's been fun to watch Ella's business evolve into Everything Ella and expand to include her artwork division. For this year, upon discovering we had this massive haul of vintage glass beads, she got into a bracelet-making kick and also offered a large jewelry selection, along with cute holiday earrings. 

We've been asked if we offer her jewelry online, like we do her art, and all we can promise is we'll do our best to get some items listed soon — in time for holiday gifting. Stay tuned!

Ella Wins award for her dress design from "The Towel!"

Congratulations to Ella for winning first place at the 2024 Space Coast Art Festival, in the 3D/sculpture category for grades 6-8!

She was thrilled to receive recognition for her design and execution of the main piece of wardrobe for her short film "The Towel," plus the mini version she made for herself, which she wore to several festivals that screened her film.

Ella has a passion for fashion, which is the base theme of her sci-fi/fantasy short film. It's a dream parallel to her own in real life...

The film is currently in its festival run, with more pending acceptances through the spring. Once it's completed its festival run, it will be made available to stream, like her previous two films.

Watch Ella in "Chosen Family" — Her first Lead Role in a Feature Film!

Ella's first lead role in a feature film is now available to stream on demand. You can watch "Chosen Family" on: Amazon, Apple TV, YouTube, Fandango at Home and on all major cable providers. (Click the links above to go directly to the film on those platforms).

Ella's feisty performance as Lily has been so well received, we're grateful she could share her love of comedy and bring the laughs with her turn in this role so unlike herself.

The romantic comedy is written and directed by its star Heather Graham (who is the nicest person on the planet). Ella's dad was played by John Brotherton, who starred in her favorite show, "Fuller House." The cast of comedic geniuses is rounded out with Julia Stiles, Thomas Lennon, Andrea Savage, Oscar-winning producer Odessa Rae, Michael Gross and Julie Halston.

Ella becomes youngest ever to win the $1,000 Sara Fuller Scholarship from Film Florida and Women in Film and Television

What a supreme honor for Ella to win this scholarship! As you can see below in the news item about all the awards her latest short film, "The Muralist" won, her creativity and professionalism have been well received. We always appreciate all the adults who treat her with respect, and who offer their advice, mentorship and kindness.

Ella says she would like to purchase wireless mics or a drone. Stepping up that filmmaking game! Thank you to Film Florida and Women in Film and Television Florida, two professional organizations of which Ella is a member. Your support means the world.

National Anthem singing
Ella is busy fielding requests to sing the national anthem at local fundraisers. She has sang at fundraisers for service dogs (Canine Companions), military causes (Month of the Military Child, women veterans), education (Success Indeed), breast cancer (local 5K run/walk and martial arts competition) and domestic violence awareness/education/action (Serene Harbor).
