Ella's commercials
Ella has done 19 commercials. The latest is from Publix, shot in 2024 in Orlando. Ella was filming season 4 of "Sweet Magnolias" at the time, and she worked a full day on set in Atlanta, then we drove home overnight so she could work the next two evenings.
The most memorable commercial is a tossup between American Family Insurance (AmFam) with Derek Jeter or the Disney commercial, which was epic in scope — and Disney is STILL using imagery of Ella seven years later in various new commercials. She's appeared for Disney in every major prime time broadcast program including the Super Bowl, Oscars, Emmys, Thanksgiving Day Parade and other holiday specials. But the AmFam commercial has so many stories around it, and it's Ella being herself, sharing her true personal story of philanthropy at age 6. That one surely is the most impactful.
